There is a gigantic powder snowfield which is protected by Fir and Pine trees, there are also huge mountains surrounding Gulmarg and this makes it a priceless location on Earth. It is a place that is commonly preferred for Skiing, Golfing, Trekking, Snowboarding, Skating and relaxing, many people refer to Gulmarg as a place of never-ending adventure. Most bollywood movies are being shot here and the nearby town; Baramulla district. This is a place every tourist must visit in Kashmir.

The golfing site here is on a whole different level, this is a good way to spend your leisure time and shake off some steam. The “Jewel in the crown of Kashmir” is the name of the Dal Lake with is located in the capital city, Kashmir. Dal Lake in Srinagar is a floating island that represents the Kashmiri lifestyle with Houseboats and Shikaras being objects of major attraction to the tourists. This place helps to boost the economy because the wetland here allows easy vegetation.  The wetland supports a lot of vegetation, thereby boosting the economy.

NISHAT BAGH

Often referred to as the “Garden of Joy” in Urdu, Nishat Bagh is a masterpiece of splendid architecture in Mughal era. Asaf Khan, Shah Jahan’s father-in-law built this amazing place in the seventeenth century. The Garden of Joy was built out jealousy and rivalry but the hatred was later demolished in front of the sheer beauty. It was then built in Persian style. Nishat Bagh is a garden that is terraced which contains twelve terraces with each of them representing the twelve zodiac signs. Public garden and Private garden are the different divisions of this garden. In the garden you will find a large variety of flowers present, it is considered to be the second largest Mughal garden in Kashmir Valley.

KATHUA

Kathua in Kashmir is called “The city of Sufis” or “Dawlat Auliya”. The city was given this title due to the presence of large numbers of Sufi Shrines of Pirs. The beautiful monuments also reflect the architectural marvel and wonders, there is also something that is unique and holistic about this city and it is the three rivers that guard the city.

MAGNETIC HILL

Magnet Hill is a gravity hill positioned near Leh in Ladakh, India. This location develops an optical illusion that the downhill road is actually an uphill road due to the layout, slopes and surroundings. If you are driving uphill, it might seem as if you are downhill and vice versa. Wouldn’t you like to be placed in an illusion? Visit here and see for yourself. The way you drive on this hill isn’t the same way you drive on a normal, you need to be extra careful or better still, take a tour guide with you so as to receive necessary directions and explanations.

CAMEL SAFARIS
